The Lancashire Partnership is committed to the development of the VCFS by engagement in partnership working to ensure the delivery of key outcomes. Our aim is to ensure fair and inclusive representation of the sector.
A new Consortium of VCFS organisations has been established with the title Third Sector Lancashire (TSL), to be defined by the statement "Supporting Organisations, Supporting Communities".
TSL is led by an Executive comprising the leads of nine Participation Network Groups (PNGs). These PNGs essentially conform to the Lancashire Partnership thematic groups plus two others, one dealing with Arts & Culture and one for Rural issues. This structure is explained in the following document
The TSL Executive has indicated its commitment to work with the Lancashire Partnership, providing representation to the Board, the Executive and each of the seven Thematic Partnership Groups.
Third Sector Lancashire have appointed a Consortium Development Worker to start in January 2010 .
