Lancashire's Housing
Rates of unfit private sector homes were particularly high in East Lancashire. In Hyndburn and Burnley 29% and 27% of all private homes were unfit compared to 7% across England.
In 2001Rossendale and Chorley had high percentages of the housing stock that was non-decent (37% and 17%).
Average house prices are higher than average incomes by 3.5 times in Ribble Valley, West Lancashire, Fylde, Wyre, Lancaster, South Ribble and Chorley.
