Ambition Lancashire

Ambition Lancashire is the Sustainable Community Strategy for Lancashire. It looks to our future and describes what we want to achieve for the county over the next 15 to 20 years.

Ambition Lancashire was developed in 2004/5. Its development involved wide ranging consultation and a comprehensive analysis of the issues facing Lancashire. Ambition Lancashire was adopted by the Lancashire Partnership in 2005.

Revised Ambition Lancashire

Ambition Lancashire was never intended to be a static document and it recognised that changing circumstances would need to be monitored and the strategy reviewed periodically to keep it focused on key issues and priorities.

So although only two years have passed we have reviewed Ambition Lancashire now because there have been significant changes to context in which it exists as well as to the importance of particular policy issues.
